UN conference to discuss competition policy in Armenia
An Armenian delegation led by Artak Shaboyan, Chairman of the RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC) has left for Switzerland to participate in the 6-th UN conference on Competition Policy.
The conference is held every five years and provides an opportunity for competition authorities and senior officials to engage in voluntary exchange of experiences and best practices.
Each year the conference focuses on a definite country. This year the conference will consider the state of competition in Armenia. Shaboyan will deliver a report on Armenia's competition policy. The report was compiled with the assistance of UN experts.
Upon results of the conference, the international organizations will decide on measures to be taken to improve competition in Armenia.
