Sheikha content with visit
Serzh Sargsyan today received Minister of Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikha Lubna al Qasimi who is in Armenia to participate in the first Armenia-UAE business forum.
The President attached importance to the business forum and the UAE Foreign Trade Minister's subsequent visit to Armenia. Sargsyan also considered the periodic meetings and the participation of nearly 50 businessmen from the Emirates as a promising start of effective cooperation.
UAE Foreign Trade Minister, Sheikha Lubna al Kasimi spoke with content about her meetings with government officials and the agreements reached during the forum. She mentioned that a number of suggestions of bilateral interest were discussed and will be implemented taking into consideration the practical and efficient efforts aimed at developing bilateral relations.
The interlocutors also attached importance to the role of the Armenia-UAE inter-governmental cooperation commission and expressed hope that the commission will discuss and implement many projects of bilateral interest.
