The trilateral meeting of Azerbaijani, Russian and Armenian presidents has ended in Astrakhan.
During a press conference following the meeting, Russian President Dmitri Medvedev said the sides would reach an agreement on the Karabakh conflict within a month.
"We have passed a long path and I am hopeful that the sides can reach an agreed solution on the principles for the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement by the OSCE summit to be held in Astana on December 1-3," said Medvedev.
According to the Russian president, the sides had signed a declaration, which envisages the return of prisoners of war.
