Karabakh issue raised in Francophonie summit
Armenia's Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian participated in the 13th summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie held in Montreux, Switzerland, on October 23 and 24.
High-level delegations from 70 member, associated and observer countries participated in the event.
The final resolution adopted in the summit involved a provision on the Karabakh issue.
"We reaffirm our support for the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict. We call on the sides to refrain from using force or threat of force and continue the talks based on the principles proposed by the Minsk Group."
Edward Nalbandian had a series of meetings on the sidelines of the summit.
