Military attaché to change
On October 21, RA Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan received UK Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Charles Lonsdale on the end of UK military attaché, Deputy Colonel Riding Ridaut's term and the appointment of the new military attaché, Deputy Colonel Steve Phillips.
Seyran Ohanyan highly appreciated Ridaut's efforts aimed at developing the Armenian-British military cooperation and wished him success. The Minister also congratulated Deputy Colonel S. Phillips on his appointment as UK military attaché and expressed certainty that the Armenian-British military cooperation will further expand and strengthen during his term in office.
During the meeting, the sides also discussed current issues related to bilateral military cooperation, as well as issues related to regional security, as reported by the department of information and public relations of the RA Ministry of Defense.
