Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian says the normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations as rather "complicated."

Armenia demonstrated an earnest desire to better ties with Turkey, Minister Nalbandian said in the Armenian National Assembly today, adding that the country's stance on the issue did not differ from that of the international community.

"In diplomatic sphere, any country seeks the support of the international community. Armenia enjoyed the support throughout the process, till the suspension of the talks. At the initial stage of the process, Yerevan did its utmost for advancement of the normalization process. "
Further, Mr. Nalbandian reminded the words of U.S. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton uttered in Yerevan, "The ball is in Turkey's court."

Today, the international community understands Armenia. Our position concurred with that of the international community. International community considers Armenia as a predictable partner and shows understanding in many respects. We feel that support in different international conferences ad structures," the Minister stressed
Speaking about Armenia's future steps, Edward Nalbandian said "they are determined by Turkey's actions."

"If Turkey expresses a desire to continue the talks without preconditions we are ready to go ahead," he said.
