“Thousands of Europeans are with us”
In his speech, Board Chairman of the Pan-Armenian National Movement (HHSh) Aram Manukyan welcomed the participants of the Forum for the "Future of Democracy" for not being intimidated and supporting them.
Manukyan says he is already laughing at the authorities out of anger. "The whole world says there are political prisoners in Armenia, but the current authorities are not paying attention."
Aram Manukyan also mentioned that the movement has many supporters, including 30 million European liberals.
He added that the rally must be a rally for solidarity for all political prisoners around the world. In the end of his speech, he called on everyone to stay strong and not lose hope because the struggle will achieve results. "Believe me, there are thousands of European people and officials with us."
His last words were followed by screams for "Freedom".
