RA MFA responds to Azerbaijan
"It's obvious that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan is unable to refute the fact that the actions taken by its country are peculiar of terrorists," Spokesman for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tigran Balayan said commenting on the recurrent demonstration of Azerbaijan's cynicism connected with the Armenian captive's death.
Azerbaijan's absurd words and desperate attempts to justify the cruel murder derive from the fact that the perpetrators of the massacres in Sumgait, Baku, Kirovabad, other settlements of Azerbaijan and Artsakh went unpunished. All criminals arrested in connection with the massacres were released and honored as heroes after Azerbaijan gained independence.
Inspired by this impunity, Azerbaijan's authorities went further by launching ethnic cleansings and large-scale aggression against Armenia and Artsakh. Today Azerbaijan continues committing and planning new crimes because of that very impunity.
