Member of the Azerbaijani Delegation to the PACE Ganira Pashayev has put into circulation a written document by which Azerbaijan demands that Armenia return the bodies of Azerbaijani soldiers Mubariz Ibrahimov and Fahrid Ahmadov.

Mubariz Ibrahimov was killed on June 19 when Azerbaijan organized a subversive attack against the positions in Chaylu village of the NKR region of Martakert.
The fact that Mubariz was part of the diversionary group is obviously not stated in the delegate's written document. The delegate claims that Mubariz Ibrahimov was killed when the Armenian side violated the ceasefire regime.

Fahrid Ahmadov is also a member of the diversionary group and was killed during a September 4 attack on Armenian positions.

The Azerbaijani delegate claims that by not returning the bodies, the Armenian side is violating the norms of international law and is having an impact on the "sensitive process of negotiations for the Karabakh conflict settlement".

Pashayev's document was signed by 22 PACE Delegates, including representatives of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Ukraine and Lithuania. The written document is not compulsory and is simply the demand of the signatories.
