Handed over his credentials
Newly appointed Ukrainian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Kuchta handed over his credentials to Serzh Sargsyan.
Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the ambassador on taking office and wished him success.
President Sargsyan mentioned that Armenia is interested in further strengthening of relations and development of cooperation with Ukraine. According to the President, the judicial-contractual field necessary for close relations is already established and favorable conditions are created for expanding cooperation between both countries. The head of state also attached importance to the cooperation between Armenia and Ukraine within international organizations.
"Ukraine is currently undergoing serious political and economic reforms. President Yanukovich attaches great importance to the deepening of cooperation with Armenia and further strengthening of bilateral relations," said Ambassador Ivan Kuchta.
The sides attached importance to partnership in economy, culture, humanities, interregional and other spheres, as well as the activation of contacts between businessmen of both countries and business forums.
