Armenian PM to visit Iran late October
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received the delegation headed by the President of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Minis, Mohammad Nahavandian. Iran's Ambassador to Armenia Seid Ali Saghaian and President of the Armenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Martin Sargsyan were present at the meeting.
Greeting the guests, the Prime Minister hailed the high level of friendly relations between the two countries and emphasized the importance of deepening economic cooperation.
The interlocutors discussed the perspectives of development of economic ties. Mohammad Nahavandian prioritized the increase of the volume of commodity turnover between the two countries and the deepening of cooperation in the fields of industry, tourism and infrastructures.
The parties attached importance to the development of cooperation between the private sectors of Armenia and Iran and discussed the perspectives of creation of joint Armenian-Iranian enterprises.
During the meeting reference was made to the forthcoming high-level visits. Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan is expected to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran in late October.
