France prepares report on the NKR

French MPs responded to journalists' questions regarding the report on their visit to the NKR during yesterday's press conference. The report is an account of their visit to Artsakh in June.
According to a release by the Permanent Representation of the NKR in France, the report is prepared by deputy elected by the Department of Luar, Chairman of the France-Armenia Parliamentary Group Francois Roshbluan. Pascale Kroson and Rene Ruke also participated in the press conference.
"The delegates saw how the people of Karabakh are building their democratic institutions and civil society," said Roshbluan and mentioned that the French delegates also attended the first session of the newly elected NKR National Assembly.
According to the MP, the main issue concerning the people of Nagorno-Karabakh is international recognition of Karabakh's independence.
The role of France and the French parliament in the process of the Karabakh conflict settlement was also an issue raised during the press conference.
