Vashadze is due in Yerevan early October
During his visit to New York, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze. The parties discussed issues relating to bilateral relations. Vashadze said he would arrive in Yerevan in early October to continue the dialogue.
Armenia ratified conventions
In the UN headquarters, Minister Nalbandian handed over the documents on the ratification of the UN Convention on the Rights of Disabled Persons and International Convention on the Struggle against International Terrorism to UN Deputy Secretary General Patricia O' Brien.
Slovenian President to visit Armenia
During a meeting with his Slovenian counterpart, Edward Nalbandian discussed preparatory works for the official visit of Slovenian President to Armenia. At the request of Samuel Žbogar, the Armenian FM presented the recent developments in the Karabakh conflict settlement.
Nalbandian meets OSCE MG Co-Chairs
Minister Edward Nalbandian met with the OSCE Minsk group Co-Chairs Ambassador Igor Popov of Russia, Bernard Fassier of France, Robert Bradke of the USA and OSCE Chairman-in-Office representative, Ambassador Anjey Kasprshik on the sidelines of the 65th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The Armenian FM hailed the co-chairs' efforts in view of the withdrawal of the Azerbaijani resolution from the 64th session of the UN General Assembly. The co-chairs briefed Mr. Nalbnadian on their actions before the OSCE summit in Astana.
Nalbandian attends reception ceremony
On September 23, Edward Nalbandian attended a reception ceremony organized by U.S. President Barack Obama in honour of the heads of UN GA delegations.
