Aliyev, Gul to meet in Istanbul
Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev today left for Turkey to participate in the 10th summit of Turkic - speaking countries to be held in Istanbul on Sept. 16.
An agreement to establish an Azerbaijan-Turkey Supreme Strategic Cooperation Council is expected to be signed during the summit, Turkish Cihan agency reports.
On September 15, Azerbaijan's President will hold meetings with his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
