Officials hopeful over negotiation results

Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan received Tina Kaidanow, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs.

Greeting the guest, Serzh Sargsyan stressed that frequent visits are of great importance for an Armenia-U.S. multifaceted dialogue

Armenia considers further expansion of bilateral high-level relations as an important factor for its economic development, as well as maintenance of regional peace and stability, President Sargsyan underlined.

The interlocutors were content with the bilateral cooperation in military strategic, educational and cultural spheres and emphasized that efforts to expand trade and economic ties should be increased.

The officials also touched upon the Karabakh peace process. Sargsyan highly appreciated the role of the USA in the OSCE Minsk Group. The sides made a point of the mediators' further efforts and expressed hope the talks will produce results.
