Journalists detained in Istanbul airport
This morning, employees of the Istanbul airport detained Armenian journalists for several hours and banned their entry to Turkey.
According to the journalists, Turkish border guards confiscated the passports of the Armenian journalists and other Armenian passengers. Later, they questioned the journalists to know whether they had return tickets and enough money with them to stay in Turkey. Learning that they were journalists the Police Control Services held them incommunicado for more than an hour.
The incident was settled with the interference of representatives of the Turkish side - the organizer of the seminar.
