Criminal case for leading to suicide
A criminal case based on Part 1, Article 110 of the Penal Code (leading to suicide) has been brought up in relation to the death of contractual soldier Artur Hakobyan who committed suicide yesterday. An examination has been scheduled and some of Hakobyan's fellow soldiers have already been interrogated.
According to a preliminary version, Artur Hakobyan committed suicide with a weapon that he took from a guard, as senior officer of the department of public relations of the investigative service at the RA Ministry of Defense Meri Sargsyan told "A1+".
"A1+" also asked the state of affairs of the criminal case that was brought up in relation to officer Artak Nazaryan who also committed suicide.
"The investigation has been handed to the investigative department for specially important cases of the investigative service at the Ministry of Defense," said Meri Sargsyan, recalling that four people have been charged. Let us remind that deputy battalion commander Hakob Manukyan is charged with Part 2, Article 375 of the Penal Code, soldiers Adibek Hovhannisyan, Harutik Kirakosyan and Mkhitar Mkhitaryan are charged with Article 358 for violence against the chief.
As far as the criminal case brought up in relation to the death of 6 soldiers in one of the military units of Karabakh, the investigator is currently on a business trip and will provide information only after his return.
