Compensation after gas inflation
The government has decided to allocate 367,582.8 thousand drams as additional family subsidies and lump sum payments to families receiving subsidies due to the gas price increase.
With the same purpose, the government will also allocate 89,021.9 thousand drams as additional pension to pensioners.
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan stated that this will entirely cover the compensation for vulnerable levels of society after the gas price increase in May.
The government has increased the subsidies for 104,000 families and pensioners will receive higher pensions starting on November 1.
