On the early morning of August 31, soldier of the NKR Defense Army Rudik Manaseryan (born in 1991) received an injury during an Azerbaijani subversive attack in the village of Verin Chaylu. Doctors say Manaseryan is in satisfactory condition and he is currently at the military hospital in Stepanakert, as press speaker of the NKR Defense Army Senor Hasratyan told "A1+".

Let us remind that on August 31 at around 6:30 a.m. the opponent attempted a subversive attack against the Armenian position in the northeast of the Karabakh-Azeri line of contact (Verin Chaylu village), but failed.
However, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has disseminated contrary information. The Ministry has announced that the Armenians organized the subversive attack, leaving 3 dead and many injured. According to the Ministry, there are also 2 dead Azerbaijani soldiers.

Senor Hasratyan said this information was false.

"It is misinformation which is constantly disseminated by Azerbaijan. During the close battle, the opponent was thrown back. According to preliminary data, the Azerbaijani lost 7 soldiers. They didn't leave bodies on the Armenian side, but dragged them as they left. Again, according to preliminary data, they have injured soldiers in critical condition. I am sure that in a couple of days the Azerbaijani mass media will announce violations of the ceasefire regime on the contact-line of Karabakh and Azerbaijani forces and the victims in order to conceal the real number of victims yesterday," said Hasratyan.

Senor Hasratyan added that currently, the NKR Defense Army is controlling the situation at full length on the line of contact of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani forces.
"Although the ceasefire regime is violated on a daily basis (it has been violated 35 times in a night), I can say that each of the subversive attacks will receive an adequate response," said the press speaker of the NKR Defense Army.
