Servicemen awarded for saving their comrade-in-arms
According to Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan's order, junior sergeant Sasun Gevorgyan and soldier Narek Gharakeshishyan were awarded "Vazgen Sargsyan" medals for acting courageously in a difficult situation and saving their comrade-in-arms.
Seyran Ohanyan handed the award to Narek Gharakeshishyan at the central military clinical hospital of the Ministry of Defense. Wishing him good health and soon recovery, the Defense Minister noted that his act of saving the friend endangering his own life deserves appreciation and admiration.
The same day Minister Ohanyan handed the medal to junior sergeant Sasun Gevorgyan at the administrative headquarters of the Ministry of Defense. Seyran Ohanyan wished him health, as well as a peaceful and productive service.
