Won’t understand those who don’t return?
Serzh Sargsyan today had a meeting with students who have received scholarships from "Luys" Foundation.
President Sargsyan congratulated the students on their admission to the world's leading universities. He said there is currently a lack of qualified cadres and a high demand of well-educated young specialists "whom we must be able to include in the state apparatus, convey new air to the apparatus and make it more modern, but for that we need people who have the knowledge, an active stance and are ready to serve for the strengthening of our country."
Serzh Sargsyan also mentioned that if any of them is able to continue activities in spheres and scientific institutions that are lacking in Armenia, then that will be encouraged and favorable for the people and the country.
According to the president, "in that case, nobody can reprehend them for not returning to Armenia." "But if you do what you could have done in Armenia, nobody will understand you."
Serzh Sargsyan also discussed issues concerning the students.
He presented certificates and wished the students success. Mentioning that the government will always be by their side, the President expressed confidence that many students will actively participate in the country's development and prosperity.
