Armenia will help Kyrgyzstan
The staff of the RA Government has received 40,000.0 drams to show humanitarian aid to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
To privatize
According to RA legislation, the Armenian government has permitted "Hostels" CJSC to sell 54.1 square meters of building N68 on 6th Street of Vardashen in Yerevan and 34.8 square meters of the hostel building 2a of Shirak in exchange for acquiring shares of a corresponding amount, hand the mentioned real estate to the administration of the RA Department of State Property Management and privatize the territories where people who were deported from Azerbaijan and acquired RA citizenship from 1988-1992 used to live.
Will sell to "Apaven"
The government has decided to sell the shares of "Yerevan Shipping and Handling" CJSC of the RA State Property Management Administration to "Apaven" LTD, which is obliged to pay 30% of the 480,935 sale price for one year and the rest of the money in proportions within three years.
Letter-agreement
The government has given consent to the proposal to stamp the protocol on making the 11th change in the letter-agreement on cooperation between the Armenian and U.S. governments in controlling narcotics and the sphere of law-enforcement. The letter-agreement was signed on 2001 June 11 and the U.S. government has allocated nearly 11 million dollars in assistance for capacity building of RA law-enforcement bodies. The 11th addition to be signed is also aimed at developing effective cooperation and according to the agreement the U.S. government is allocating 2,875,284 USD.
Maximum 25 years
The government gave consent to the draft law on making changes in the "RA Penal Code" according to which it is proposed to restrict criminal justice in order to avoid any intervention in the court's activities. The government has also given consent to the draft law on making changes in and additions to the same penal code. It is proposed to set 20 years as the maximum time for imprisonment, 22 years for setting a penalty for combined crimes and 25 years for the combination of verdicts.
Terminated powers
The government has taken the decision to terminate the powers of the heads of Aragatsotni province's Nor Artik village and Shirak province's Sarnaghbyur village, to appoint and hold new elections and provide funding for preparing and holding the elections.
