Sargsyan expressed condolences
Serzh Sargsyan sent a telegram of condolences to academician Emil Gabrielyan's family on the occasion of his death. In the telegram it is stated:
"I was informed with sorrow about the death of prominent pharmacologist, full-fledged member of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, Director of the Agency for Medicine and Medical Technologies at Armenia's Ministry of Health and member of the RA Public Council, Emil S. Gabrielyan.
Emil Gabrielyan made a great contribution to pharmacology, especially in research on regulating medicine for blood circulation and made a weighty contribution to organizing healthcare in Armenia. He demonstrated his capabilities of a skillful leader as Rector of Yerevan Medical Institute and as Minister of Health. Emil Gabrielyan also helped provide medical assistance to those who suffered from the 1988 earthquake. He was a meritorious figure in healthcare and carried out community activities for the strengthening of Armenia's statehood and development of society.
At this critical moment of loss, I express condolences to Emil Gabrielyan's family and partners."
