NKR representative in Armenia in 1993-95 Manvel Sargsyan tried to give the answers to today's problems in his book "Nagorno Karabakh Republic: War and Politics."

"I tried to analyze how the political system evolved in the Republic of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh and how the war affected internal relations. Numerous adverse phenomena of today originated in 1990-93," Manvel Sargsyan told A1+.

The book starts with an extract from Levon Ter-Petrosyan's speech at Liberty Square where the country's first president apologizes before public for bringing Robert Kocahryan and Serzh Sargsyan to Armenia.
"In 1990-93, the relations between Levon Ter-Petrosyan and Robert Koacharyan were close and at the same time complicated. The settlement of Kocahryan and Sarsgyan in Armenia was not accidental."

In the book the author mentioned all figures who contributed to the establishment of Armenian statehood and victory of the Artsakh war.

A special reference was made to the relations between the Pan-Armenian National Movement (HHSh) and Armenian Revolutionary Federation -Dashnaktsutyun (ARF). "The book shows how seriously the country's leadership addressed all issues. Our army developed and strengthened in the result of rivalry between HHSh and ARF. The rivalry between the parties was really exotic."

"During the Arsakh war all decisions made by authorities expressed the will of the people. People caught the authorities upon the hip. Readers can see how an ordinary citizen sacrificed his life for his motherland," the author said.

Regarding the current situation in Karabakh, Aliyev's bellicose statements and the recent act of sabotage, Sargsyan said: "In fact, the sides have hip nothing to concede. Azerbaijan has been reiterating it for 15 years. Serge Sargsyan said the other day that the given situation increases the role of mediators."

The presentation of the book is scheduled for June 24.
