“Armenia should boycott the activity of subcommittee”
PACE Bureau is likely to make a decision on the re-establishment of a subcommittee on the Karabakh conflict in its Friday sitting.
Member of the Armenian delegation to PACE Naira Zohrabyan has addressed letters to PACE delegates requesting them to abstain from reopening of the controversial subcommittee.
Mrs. Zohrabyan says it is useless to revive a subcommittee which has no prospects and has yielded no fruits. Talking to A1+, Naira Zohrabyan reminded PACE ex President Russell-Johnston's assessment on the committee's activity.
"The issue is currently under consideration. Even if PACE President Mevlut Cavusoglu manages to gather enough proponents and reopen the subcommittee, the Armenian side should boycott the structure's activities," the Armenian delegate concluded.
