Hovik Abrahamyan to speak about opposition rights
An Armenian delegation headed by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hovik Abrahamyan, will leave for Cyprus on June 11 to participate in the European forum of parliament speakers.
The delegation comprises Head of the National Assembly staff Gegham Gharibjanyan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on State-Legal Issues David Harutyunyan.
Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan is expected to deliver a speech on "The rights and obligations of the opposition in a democratic parliament."
In Limason, the Armenian parliament speaker will have bilateral meetings with the Chairman of the House of Representatives of Cyprus, Marios Karoyan, the President of the Riksdag of the Kingdom of Sweden, Per Westerberg and heads of other parliamentary delegations.
