Deputy of "Heritage" faction Anahit Bakhshyan-one of the rarely interested deputies during the discussion on the executive of the 2009 budget in parliament-has noticed evidence of misuse.

According to the executive of the "Lincy" Foundation, 100% of the 17.8 million dollars of the 2009 budget has been used.

"When we saw the reformulated agreement, it was stated that 17 schools had been renovated and nearly 19 million dollars had been spent. In the list, I saw a school that had not been renovated," said the deputy.

Anahit Bakhshyan addressed the Minister of Territorial Administration, Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan who clarified that only 10 out of 17 schools had been renovated.

After that, Anahit Bakhshyan told "A1+": "Armen Gevorgyan gave that explanation based on the shifts of the dollar exchange rate. But there is a counter-argument. The same agreement includes a point stating that the government is committed to complement the difference that emerges due to shifts so that the project is 100% complete. Why hasn't the government complemented and is that difference really equivalent to the sum for renovating 7 schools?"

Anahit Bakhshyan is concerned about what happened to the money of the 100% completed projects that was received, but not given to the schools.

"If I were RA National Hero, benefactor Kirk Kerkorian, I would be offended after investing in Armenia. That is why I voted against the agreement's affirmation. I am personally going to write a letter to Kerkorian as a deputy and ask him whether he is aware of how his money is being spent," said Anahit Bakhshyan.
