Dink Family Lawyer found hanged
Hrant Dink Family's lawyer Hakan Karadağ (40) was found hanged in his home in Istanbul this morning. His body was transferred to the Police Hospital for investigation.
During the last trial, Hakan Karadağ had an argument with Dinks' killer Ogün Samast. Karadağ later told the media that after the trial Samast had put a note in his pocket on which he had found his name.
Hrant Dink was the editor-in-chief of the bilingual Turkish-Armenian newspaper Agos. He was as a prominent member of the Armenian minority in Turkey who was best known for advocating Turkish-Armenian reconciliation and human and minority rights in Turkey.
Dink was assassinated in Istanbul, in front of the editorial office, on January 19, 2007, by Ogün Samast, a 17-year old Turkish nationalist.
