“Veterinary” replaced with “animal”
The government examined the packet of drafts on making changes in the RA Law on "Veterinary Medicine" and a number of other laws as well.
The packet of drafts was presented by a group of MPs by order of legislative initiative with the proposal to replace the words "Veterinary Medicine", "Veter" and its declinations with "Animal Medicine", "Animal" and its declinations.
According to the government's press service, the government proposed to make a number of changes without any principled objections to the packet of drafts.
As Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan informed, the proposal for a draft law was made by field experts and professionals. In his turn, the Minister of Agriculture assured that the draft had been discussed by all interested bodies and there were no objections.
The draft law and the government's corresponding conclusions will be presented to the RA National Assembly by the prescribed order.
