Free Homeland Party wins in NKR elections
The preliminary results of the May 23 parliamentary elections in the Nagorno Karabakh Republic are already known, with Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan's Free Homeland Party garnering most of the votes.
The Democratic Party of Artsakh comes 2nd, followed by the Armenian Revolutionary Federation.The Communist Party running in the election failed to pass the six-percent threshold.
Recall that 17 NKR parliamentarians are elected by the proportional representation and 16 by the majoritarian one.
