On May 18, RA Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arman Kirakossian received OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunya Miyatovich.
Welcoming the guest, Arman Kirakossian attached importance to the OSCE's role in ensuring human rights and fundamental liberties.
According to the press release by the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media touched upon Armenia's steps aimed at ensuring freedom of the media and evaluated the legislative reforms as positive.
The interlocutors discussed in detail the issues related to further cooperation between Armenia and the office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media and mentioned the need for ensuring cooperation in the region.
