The first instance court of Kentron-Nork Marash districts today ended hearings into the case filed by the legal successors of March 1 victims.

Vahagn Harutyunyan, a senior investigator of the Special Investigation Service and the head of the Special Investigative Group looking into the events of March 1, today called the complaint "a show."

"This is a mere show. You do not even know what is written here," Vahagn Harutyunyan told Artak Zeynalyan, legal representative of March 1 victims Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Grigor Grigoryan and Samvel Harutyunyan.
Judge Armen Khacharyan warned Vahagn Harutyunyan against speaking without permission. The judge did not allow the representatives of the legal successors to address questions to the respondent - pretrial body.

Artak Zeynalyan had to present his questions in the form of a motion. In particular, he wondered whether the victims' right to life envisaged by Article 15 of the RA Constitution had not been infringed and what measures had been taken to disclose their death.

To this, the judge announced that the court was not empowered to force the respondent to give an answer.
Nevertheless, respondent Harutyun Harutyunyan said the preliminary investigation was continuing and they could give no more details not to harm the investigation.
The relatives of March 1 victims left the courtroom infuriated and insulted.

"Vahagn Harutyunyan views the complaint as a show. Does he mean to say that the murder of our sons was also a show?" wondered Samvel Harutyunyan, the father of March 1 victim Robert Harutyunyan.

Sargis Kloyan, the father of Gor Kloyan, says the show was staged by the court and investigative body.

"None of the ten murders has been unveiled to date. If they cannot do it, they had better resign. It is obvious that the judge backs the prosecutor and the investigative body," said Mr. Kloyan.

The court will declare its decision on May 24.
