Received the Presidential Prize
Twenty one representatives of art and science received prizes in 17 categories during the 2009 Presidential Prize ceremony held at the RA presidential residence today.
Congratulating the winners, Serzh Sargsyan mentioned that the annual awards ceremony is a truly beautiful and important idea. According to him, the prizes not only encourage the winners, but draw the society's attention to the latest achievements in art and science and increase society's expectations from the winners.
Serzh Sargsyan also expressed words of gratitude to the French Armenian Bogossian Family which initiated and sponsored the RA Presidential Prize in 2001. There have been 161 winners to this day.
