It is already five years resident of Yerevan's Arabkir street Hovhannes Asatryan has been entering his flat through a window.

Everything started when Asatryan's neighbour enlarged his apartment at the expense of the stairway enclosure and welded up Asatryan's front door.

Hovhannes Asatryan had to remove a few stones under the window to build a new "door".

"It took the court 4-5 years to realize that the flat needs a door. I don't care for this wretched door. I want people to understand that some laws are blatantly violated in our country," says Hovhannes.

The neighbour who welded the door later sold his apartment.

"By a court decision, Hovhannes is free to enter his flat whenever he wants," said the new neighour.

The chairman of the condominium, Razmik Nersisyan told A1+ the issue was beyond their competence and must be settled by the Judicial Acts Compulsory Enforcement Service of Armenia.
