The thick plume of volcanic ash emanating from Iceland continues to frustrate Europe's air communication. Nevertheless, the flights from Armenia are not disrupted.

Talking to A1+, Erik Gyulazyan, Head of the International Relations Department of Bmi (British Midland International) Company, and Nana Avetisova, Spokeswoman for Armavia national carrier, said the flights follow the schedule.

In reply to A1+ that the volcanic ash has disrupted air travel as reported by international media, Nana Avetisova said the flights would be interrupted if they felt some danger.

Recall that scores of flights have been canceled or suspended in France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
The volcanic ash is said to be heading in two directions- towards Italy and France.
