Karekin II holds memorial service for Genocide victims
His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, served a prayer for the innocent victims of the Genocide Genocide in Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
Karekin II said prayer for the repose of 1.5 million innocent Genocide victims' souls. He also expressed gratitude to all states, international organizations and individuals that recognized and denounced Armenian Genocide.
"The Armenian Church also fell victim to the Genocide. Turkey destroyed hundreds of Armenian churches and temples turning then into mosques.
Our people hopes to adnminister justice and make Turkey repay for its losses, greif and sufferings," said the Catholicos of All Armenians.
