Assyrians urge Armenian parliament to recognize their genocide
Assyrians call on the Armenian National Assembly to recognize the Assyrian Genocide committed in the Ottoman Empire during the First World War.
Assyrian Association "Hayadta" has addressed a letter to NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan stating that the recognition of the Assyrian Genocide by the Armenian parliament will raise Armenia's image on the international arena, strengthen pressure on Turkey and quicken recognition of the Armenian Genocide by other countries.
