Catholicos leaves for Baku
On April 26, His Holiness, Supreme Patriarch, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II will pay a one-day visit to Baku at the invitation of Patriarch of Moscow and All Russians Kiril I and leader of the Muslims of the Caucasus Sheikh ul islam Pasha Zade to take part in the 2nd World Spiritual Leaders Summit.
A quadrilateral meeting between the regional spiritual leaders will take place, including the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russians, the Patriarch-Catholicos of All Georgians, Sheikh ul islam and the Armenian Patriarch.
Accompanying the Supreme Patriarch are correspondent of inter-ecclesiastic relations at the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin, Archbishop Yeznik Petrosyan, director of the office of inter-ecclesiastic relations of the Mother See, Bishop Hovakim Manukyan and director of the information system, priest Vahram Melikyan.
Congregate of the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin, Archbishop Vigen Aykazyan will also take part in the summit as president of the National Council of Churches in the US.
