285 companies are obliged to release their financial reports with conclusions by foreign auditors this year.

This list must still be checked because the 285 are companies that had a circulation of over 1 billion drams in 2009.

According to Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, calculations are underway and the list may be changed. "For the first time, we must follow-up on receiving financial reports from large companies. We are criticized for not being able to ensure control of large companies and I agree with that criticism. If a large company is able to avoid paying taxes, that is a great evil for the state."

Within a month, the Ministry of Finance will release a document that will show the indicators of large taxpayers in 2008 and 2009.

"There is a fear that the main burden of paying taxes during the year of the crisis has not fallen on big businesses, but small and medium businesses and we are obliged to dispel all doubts," said the Prime Minister during the government's session.
