Meeting at Mother See
His Holiness, Supreme Patriarch, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II received Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Khidir Saparliyev.
The Supreme Patriarch welcomed the Deputy Prime Minister's visit to the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin. Considering similar visits as an important impetus for development of bilateral relations, the parties attached importance to the strengthening cooperation which will contribute to the welfare of the nations of Armenia and Turkmenistan.
His Holiness also recalled the term of Mr. Khidir Saparliyev as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Armenia, particularly touching upon the cordial ties between the Mother See and the Embassy of Turkmenistan.
Expressing gratitude to the Supreme Patriarch for the warm reception, Deputy Prime Minister Saparliyev was pleased to affirm that the visit was a good opportunity to resume friendly relations and presented the details of his visit to His Holiness.
