23,388 signatures
There are 23,388 signatories against the decision to destroy the summer hall of "Moscow" Cinema. The signatures have already been sent to the RA President, the Prime Minister, the Chairman of the National Assembly and the Catholicos of All Armenians.
As architect and one of the members of the civil initiative group for preserving the summer hall of "Moscow" Cinema Sarhat Petrosyan told "A1+", they are impatiently waiting for the official response.
Last week, members of the initiative collected signatures during evening hours near the statue of Alexander Tamanyan. They demand the annulment of the government's decision to destroy the summer hall of "Moscow" Cinema and the construction of a new church.
According to Sarhat Petrosyan, citizens continue joining the petition.
