“ARF is our number one enemy”
Armenian communists are angered by the attempts of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation -Dashnaktsutyun "to appropriate and distort" the ideology of the Armenian Communist Party (HKK).
The communists' anger was provoked by a recent international conference organized by the ARF. The Communist Party was not invited to the conference entitled "Socialistic Approaches to Armenian Challenges: Global Prospects-Local Realities."
"It is ten days they are repeating that socialist ideology and justice will save Armenia. Now, the ARF has decided to delude people with socialist ideas," HKK member Ishkhan Tovmasyan told A1+ and added: "Vladimir Lenin said in his time that preaching ideas in Communists' language is the most dangerous thing in our reality."
Ishkhan Tovmasyan reminded the ARF had thrice broken the wrath of Armenians with its decision to join the ruling coalition.
Tovmasyan's colleague Raffik Pashyan said: "The ARF has always pursued a double-faced policy and been on friendly terms with the authorities. Then, all of a sudden, the party became a false opposition."
To prove his words, Mr. Pashyan reminded that the authorities always sanctioned ARF rallies and denied those of the opposition.
The communists also reminded ARF's policy at the beginning of the 20th century.
"Aren't our people still convinced that the ARF has been pursing a destructive policy since 1920? The ARF is our number one enemy," declared Mr. Pashyan.
The Communist Party is going to hold a rally in the near future in order to awaken people. Among other vital issues, the party will focus on the recent advances in prices.
