Yerevan's Pyunik has signed a one-year contract with Belarusian goal-keeper Artur Lesko.

Today Pyunik introduced the goal-keeper to Armenian journalists. Artur Lesko played in Minsk's Dinamo for five years and in Ukraine's Kryvbas for two years.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper says he was transferred to Pyunik as the Armenian team always pursues high goals. "Kryvbas only cared for preserving its place in the high league. Dinamo and Pyunik are alike in the sense they always seek to take the lead. I like teams striving for leading places."

With his excellent performance in Pyunik, Artur Lesko wants to attract the attention of Belarusian team's chief coach.

"The dream of each football dreams is to play in the national team of his country. I have chanced to play in Belarusian youth team and now I want to be involved in the national team," he said.

The Belarusian goalkeeper is impressed by Yerevan's unique architecture and the beauty of Mount Ararat.
"Among Armenian footballers I know Hamlet Mkhitaryan and goal keeper Roman Berezovski who enjoy a great reputation in Belarus. I have seen their games on TV many times," says the Belarusian goalkeeper.
