"Ash and Pheonix" screened in Berlin

The documentary "Ash and Pheonix" dedicated to the Armenian Genocide was screened at Germany's "History Museum" in Berlin. The film was produced in light of the 150th anniversary of well-known publicist, scientist Johannes Lepsius by "Blankfilm" company in Armenia, Turkey and Syria and funding provided by the German State Cultural Foundation.

Attending the event were political figures of Germany, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corpus and the German Armenian community. The screening was followed by speeches by Armenia's Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany Armen Martirosyan and film director Mr. Solokhan.
