Chairman of 10/12 precinct charged on forgery of voting results

The preliminary investigation of the criminal case initiated on the forgery of voting results by the chairman of the precinct 10/12 has been completed RA Special Investigation Service. The prosecutor supervising the preliminary investigation of the criminal case confirmed the bill of indictment.

On checking the information published in "A1+" website, it turned out that the chairman of 10/12 precinct G. Galoyan forged the voting results of the Parliamentary elections held in Yerevan on January 10, 2010.


Particularly, he added false passport data and signature in front of the name of A. Burnachyan with 1655 number on page 27, making impression that the latter had voted. Then, G. Galoyan took a ballot and a package, signed the ballot and put it into the ballot box.

On the obtained evidence G. Galoyan has been charged according to the RA Criminal Code, Article 150.

The criminal case has been sent to the Court of First Instance of Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts for the thorough investigation.
