President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected President Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovich. The message reads:

Please accept my congratulations on your election as President of Ukraine.

Your dedication to the traditional friendship and mutual support of our two peoples are remembered and cherished in Armenia, and we believe that further development of the Armenian-Ukrainian cooperation is essential.
