Artur Grigorian refuses to fight
Ex WBO lightweight champion Artur Grigorian refused to fight Polish Matt Zegan. During an interview with FightNews.com the 42-year-old boxer who represents Uzbekistan said he is no longer fit for fighting. The boxer jumped at the conclusion after 4-week training ahead of the fight.
Matt Zegan-Artur Grigorian rematch was scheduled for March 6 in Poland. 33-year-old Matt Zegan seeks revenge on Artur Grigorian whom he lost to via controversial circumstances seven years ago.
"I want this revenge to come true. I have been looking forward to this rematch all those years," said Matt.
It is due to mention that Artur Grigorian is trained by heavyweight Denis Boytsov.
"As Artur's trainer, I bear full responsibility for him. I couldn't take a break and stop training," said Boytsov.
