Meetings in Syria
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Syria Ualid Muallim received the Armenian delegation led by RA Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakossian.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a broad range of issues relating to bilateral cooperation in the spheres of politics, trade, economy, science, education and culture.
The Syrian Foreign Minister underscored that the ongoing high-profile visits bring a new sweep to the mutually beneficial cooperation between both countries.
In his turn, the RA Deputy Foreign Minister stressed that Armenia attaches great importance to the development of multilateral and multifaceted relations with Syria and evidence of that is the opening of the office of the RA Honorary Consul in Der Zor, which will become a new impetus for Armenia and Syria, particularly the deepening of collaboration with Eastern regions in different spheres.
On the same day, the Syrian Foreign Ministry held the subsequent stage of political consultations between the Syrian and Armenian Foreign Ministries.
