Address to Gul
The following is stated in the address:
Your Excellency,
Passing through the air territory of Turkey, I convey my greetings to you and the neighboring Turkish people.
Our initiative to normalize Turkish-Armenian relations is the focus of the international community. The moment is truly historical and both we and the entire world realize that. All involved powers of the region are making invaluable efforts to normalize bilateral relations. I am certain that it would be difficult to register progress without their intermediation. Parallel to that, I think no matter how interested the friendly countries are in the positive climax of the process, they can't do all that our countries can do.
Mr. President,
I think you will agree with me when I say that the main role of breaking the stereotypes between the Turkish and Armenian nations and creating an atmosphere of mutual confidence is reserved for the authorities of both countries. Only through the faith, determination and principality will we be able to achieve results. When words and actions don't go together, that leads to lack of confidence and underestimation and opens a wide field for the powers that are against the process. We must realize that in this case, time doesn't contribute to the process, but makes it lose its meaning.
If we have been able to bring bilateral relations to this level from where the future of building normal bilateral relations is visible and tangible, today is the time to show determination, to take a huge step and leave a stable and secure region for our future generations.
