Armenian and Iranian FMs discuss issues of bilateral interest
Armenia's Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian had a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki on January 26.
Minister Nalbandian assessed the bilateral relations between the two countries as highly efficient.
The parties underscored that regular high-level meetings and reciprocal visits speak of a mutual interest to further reinforce partnership and relations between the two countries.
During the meeting the FMs discussed issues of mutual, regional and international interest and highlighted cooperation in the legal sphere. They also dwelt on the recent developments in the Karabakh conflict resolution.
Minister Mottaki welcomed the efforts directed to the Armenia-Turkey peace deal and introduced to his Armenian counterpart the latest developments of the Iranian nuclear programme.
